This error is a generic error that unfortunately does not provide a lot of information as to what causes it. It could be due to Excel crashing, a corrupted report, or the machine not having enough resources to run Excel/Report Designer, etc.
Often this error occurs by user error, e.g. an end-user chooses Create Storage (instead of Create Group) on the row or column of their template; however, this is not possible by the design of the application - storage can only be created at the cell level.
Due to its generic nature, it is best to submit a ticket to our Support team with details as to what could have potentially changed within your environment, how many users this affects, and what precise steps/actions are taken that produce this error. Video replication would be best, but screenshots with detailed steps work just as well.
Additionally, when submitting a ticket to Support, please provide the Excel version, bitness, etc.
