This article troubleshoots an error that occurs when installing BI360 Reporting if PowerShell permissions are not granted.
When a user is upgrading or re-installing BI360 Reporting, they receive the following error message:
Could not access network location OsrDirectory should have been found via custom property.
This is due to the user being unable to run PowerShell scripts on the computer. As part of the installer, there is a final step that runs a PowerShell script. If you do not have permissions to run PowerShell, this error will appear.
This error does not prevent you from using the BI360 application and you can open the BI360 software.
If you would like this installer to complete without error, talk with your IT about how to run Powershell scripts on your computer.
Once you have been granted permissions to run PowerShell scripts on your computer, simply rerun the installer.
