An integration or a job gets stuck in Processing in the Private Host portal, there is not button to cancel the process. The user is unable to run other integrations or jobs due to the process being "stuck".
This resolution applies to Private Host users only. If you are a BI360 Cloud users, please contact support.
To manually cancel an integration or a job, the database administrator will need to update the job status from "Processing" to "Fail" in the following tables in the BI360 Data Warehouse database.
- For Integration: Go to the SQL server located the BI360DW database look for the log.EtlJobStepLog table Update the status of the integration that you want to cancel from "Processing" to "Fail"
- For Jobs: Go to the SQL server located the BI360DW database look for the log.JobLog table Update the status of the job that you want to cancel from "Processing" to "Fail"
Once the status is update, manually refresh the web page and you should see the status changes.
NOTE: If you simply delete the integration / job from the front end (portal) while it is stuck in processing, the task will be stuck in the back end (SQL) still. Therefore, please ensure you kill the task from the back end before deleting a stuck task from the front end.
