Summary:
This article details the BI360 system requirements which apply to client and terminal server installs. These specifications apply to the latest version of the software and may not be applicable for older versions. Many of the specifications listed below are the minimum requirements to run the application; however it is always best to be using a machine that exceeds these specifications.
Note: For Windows 10, only version 4.6+ of BI360 Data Warehouse is supported. For all versions of BI360 Suite, FIPS and/or ADFS systems are not supported.

- 64 bit recommended
- 2.0 GHz or faster.
- Microsoft Excel Compatibility mode is not supported by the Planning application.
- SQL Server Standard or greater version.
- SQL Server 2008R2 Enterprise edition and newer is recommended.
- SQL Compact and Express are not supported.
- RAID1 or RAID10 is recommended.
- Operating system and Office version must be completely up to date.
- Visual C++ SP1 x86/x64 update must be performed.
- Must be activated licensed version.
- SQL Server 2014 In Memory Optimization is not supported.
- Supported on BI360 v4.6.60803+
- Click-to-run (C2R) installations of Office are not supported - MSI deployment of Office is required
- SQL 2017/2019 have been confirmed compatible but not officially supported
If .net framework 4.5 is not installed, the setup will install this necessary component and may require a system reboot. It is important that if the application is being installed on a terminal server or Citrix environment that .net Framework is installed during non-business hours.

User Rights |
The user who will perform the BI360 Portal installation must have Administrator privileges on the application (client) server and must be able to access Active Directory on the domain. The user must be member of the SYSADMIN role on SQL Server or have the SQL Server SA login password available during installation. |

- If installing Web Budgeting, the BI360 and/or ERP database must be set to SQL Compatibility mode 2008+. More information can be found here.
- Compatible for both 32 and 64 bit versions of the operating systems
- Requires enabling HTTP acitivation for .net Framework 4.6. This is not a default setting.
