Summary:

This article details the BI360 system requirements which apply to client and terminal server installs. These specifications apply to the latest version of the software and may not be applicable for older versions. Please read the appropriate system requirements for the version that is being installed (listed below). Many of the specifications listed below are the minimum requirements to run the application; however it is always best to be using a machine that exceeds these specifications.

Note: For Windows 10, only version 4.6 of BI360 Data Warehouse is supported. For all versions of BI360 Suite, FIPS and/or ADFS systems are not supported.

Disk Configuration

  1. 32 and 64 bit are supported.
  2. 2.0 GHz or faster.
  3. Microsoft Excel Compatibility mode is not supported by the Planning application.
  4. SQL Server Standard or greater version.
  5. SQL Server 2008R2 Enterprise edition and newer is recommended.
  6. SQL Compact and Express are not supported.
  7. RAID1 or RAID10 is recommended.
  8. Operating system and Office version must be completely up to date.
  9. Visual C++ SP1 x86/x64 update must be performed.
  10. Must be activated licensed version.
  11. SQL Server 2014 In Memory Optimization is not supported.
  12. Click-to-run (C2R) installations of Office are not supported - MSI deployment of Office is required
  13. SQL 2017/2019 have been confirmed compatible but not officially supported

If .net framework 4.5 is not installed, the setup will install this necessary component and may require a system reboot. It is important that if the application is being installed on a terminal server or Citrix environment that .net Framework is installed during non-business hours.
