When running reports, it may be desired to always open a report in Run mode. This is convenient when the user does not want to click between the Design tab and the run tab every time they open a report.
To do so, the user simply needs to change a setting in their Excel.
- On the Reporting ribbon, click Options.
- In the popup that appears, on the Designer tab, check "Always Open Report Designer in Run mode".
- Close out of Excel and then next time you open a a report in Excel, it will load to the Run tab.
