This article troubleshoots an error that occurs when attempting to enter data in a non-input cell despite it being unprotected within Report Designer.
When a user attempts to make a change to a non-input cell on a Planning template after unprotecting the sheet, they still receive the following error message:
The cell or chart you're trying to change is on a protected sheet. To make a change, unprotect the sheet. You may be requested to enter a password.
The workbook is protected possibly in a hidden sheet.
Verify that there are no hidden Excel sheets with password protection. If there are any, remove the sheet if it is not required or unprotect the sheet. Additionally, ensure that the protection of input cells is unchecked.
